This painting shows several important places on and around Texas Downs Station where the artist was born and spent most of her life. At the upper right is a "rainmaker" boab tree. The artist says if you "cut him away here anyway. You make im rain come up." At the upper left is a boab tree near a women's scared site. The horizontal black line represents the Ord River. Horseman Creek, a tributary, flows into it from below. At the left centre are two tall hills called Rawoolinliny (Mt. Glass) which stands alone in the middle of a flat plain. The pink hill at right centre is Table Top Mountain, the dreaming place of the Corella, a species of cockatoo. Beside the hill are a group of rocks. The artist revisited this country in a helicopter and landed on top of Table Top Mountain. She said the view was spectacular. Bilbirrjim, a hill in Lake Argle country, appears in black below. The white hill at the bottom is called Yalga, an Echidna Dreaming place. In the painting the artist has shown here two "grannies" Bawoongali and Garrinygali sitting on top. The artist was born in Yalga country and the Echidna is one of her Dreamings. The area is a source of white stone called yalga which was used for making spearheads in the early days. The stone is said to be sharp like the quills of the Dreamtime Echidna.
