Senior Art Specialist

Catherine Baxendale has over a decade’s experience in the art world with expertise in fine art appraisals and formal valuations, collection management, art-historical research and catalogue design.  Catherine has previously worked with public collections and commercial galleries in Canberra and Sydney, including the National Gallery of Australia, the National Trust’s S.H. Ervin Gallery and Eva Breuer Art Dealer.  She is a former member of the Advisory Committee for the Art Gallery of New South Wales Young Members program.  Catherine holds a Bachelor of Philosophy with the University Medal in Art History from the Australian National University, and a Master of Art Curatorship from the University of Melbourne.
