Job Title: Logistics & Client Services Coordinator

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics & Client Services Coordinator to join our team.
Job Description: The Logistics & Client Services Coordinator will be responsible for managing the logistical operations of Menzies’ Sydney gallery and ensuring superior client service. This role requires excellent organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and a keen attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the incoming and outgoing stock, including updating database records and generating receipts.
- Timely and safe handling, packing, delivery, installation and collection of works of art.
- Coordinate exhibition installation and deinstallation.
- Oversee auction day organisation and set-up (chairs, flowers, catering, bar, rostrum, telephone bid tables).
- Reception and front of house duties, including answering and directing telephone calls.
Qualifications:
- Experience with and awareness of the correct protocols for handling, hanging and installing of works of art.
- Sound MS Office knowledge – particularly Excel and Word.
- An awareness of computerised inventory management systems is beneficial.
- An Australian driver’s licence (must not be suspended).
- Sound knowledge of telephone systems - how to answer and direct calls.
- Demonstrated organisational skills in managing office procedures.
- Demonstrated client service skills in providing high quality and attentive service to specialised clientele.
- Bachelor’s degree in Art, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
