Menzies is delighted to be offering Jeffrey Smarts Study for Outside the Ministry 1970, 33.0 x 40.0 cm, in our winter auction with an estimate of $90,000 - $120,000. The subsequent painting, Outside the Ministry 1970, 80.0 x 90.0 cm, was sold by Menzies in 2018 for $490,909 (including buyers premium) and is to be included in the forthcoming major exhibition of Jeffrey Smart at the National Gallery of Australia.
